Charity

Why We Ask

Relief is one of the three principal tenets of Freemasonry, alongside brotherly love and truth. Every dollar given to the lodge goes back out again: to Masonic charities, to the youth groups we sponsor, and to families in our own community who need a hand.

You do not need to be a Mason to give, and no gift is too small. Donations to the lodge are not necessarily tax deductible; ask the Secretary if you need a receipt or if you wish to give to a specific Masonic charity instead.

Online giving is being set up. In the meantime please write to palatinemasonictemple@gmail.com and the Secretary will arrange it.
Our Causes

Where It Goes

Illinois Child ID

The Illinois Child Identification Program gives parents a free identification kit for their children. Lodges run these events at schools and community days at no cost to families.

Masonic Children’s Charities

Illinois Masons support children’s health, education and welfare programs across the state, including scholarships for local students.

Masonic Youth Groups

DeMolay, Job’s Daughters and Rainbow for Girls give young people leadership and service experience. The lodge sponsors and hosts them.

Give Your Time as Well

Money helps, but hands help more. Ask us about volunteering at a Child ID event or a lodge fundraiser.
